We launched our Original Chai Concentrate many moons ago when our founder was a fledgling barista trying to find her calling in the coffee industry after leaving her corporate tech job in NYC. She realized that while there was tons of amazing coffee on the market, the chai options next to them were bleak - often bland or entirely too sweet. The traditional act of making chai can be daunting for some and time consuming for many that need something on the go. Seeing this, we wanted to create a product that was easy to use, required the least amount of tools, but still delivered a beautiful cup of chai.
We believe that brewing high quality ingredients, like our robust organic Assam CTC Black tea that we directly source from a family owned farm in India with beautiful spices allows you to have a chai concentrate that will yield a delicious cup of chai no matter what milk you pair it with. As a bonus, our concentrate is ever so lightly sweetened with organic brown sugar - this is more than half of the amount of sugar most competing products have!
It’s simple to use: Just mix 1:1 with a milk of your choice and serve hot or over ice.
Unopened, the shelf life of our concentrate is 12 months. After opening, refrigerate and use within two weeks.
