Easy chai apple pie baked oats
We loved this unique take on apple pie by food blogger Marley McDonnough! Apple pie can often be too much of a dessert so here’s a great way to incorporate all the great flavors of apple pie (and chai!) into a healthier baked oats option!
Apple Pie Baked Oats
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1 ripe banana, mashed
1 egg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup @onestripechaico Original chai concentrate
1 3/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 chopped apple
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F and spray an 8x8 baking dish. Combine all the wet ingredients in one bowl and all the dry in another (except apples and walnuts). Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until combined. Add in the walnuts and the apple. Pour mixture into dish and top with extra apple splices if desired. Baked for 35-40 minutes or until done (mine took about 40)
